I have a collection of several different sitting goddesses, each one lovely and wonderful additions to your personal altar or sacred space. They each represent different aspects of life, knowledge, ancient wisdom or traits we wish to nurture within ourselves.
The goddess symbol is related to Mother Earth and the Divine Mother. She represents love, nurturing and feminine strength.
The Divine Mother goddess emanates serenity and calmness as she cradles a semi-precious stone in her hands. Each goddess holds a different gemstone in her hands.
Morrigan, the Raven goddess, is a protector goddess of Celtic & Druidic lore and her animal counterpart is the Raven who can see both sides of the veil and bring messages from the other side. Made of gypsum, the Morrigan is adorned with a black feather and hand painted with a Celtic cross with her loyal Raven in her lap.
The Owl goddess represents wisdom as she sits with her owl and a feather by her side.
The Tenderness goddess is seen to be embracing the world in her arms while tiny leaves and vines are sprouting all around her.
Cerridwen is the Keeper of the Cauldron of Knowledge and here she is mixing a potion of transformation. She influences change, rebirth and transformation in both the spiritual and earthly realms. Cerridwen's ability to prophesize brings forth intelligence, inspiration and wisdom. Her cauldron holds sacred knowledge that she calls upon to assist one to find the path they seek.
Tiamat is the ancient Goddess of creation and mother of Dragons. She teaches us to fight through the challenges in our lives and reminds us that order comes from chaos. She represents the Primordial Sea and the forces of life.
Aine (Pronounced An'-ya), Sovereignty goddess, is holding a stone heart in her arms, teaches us the meaning of love. She is a Celtic Goddess associated with the Sun, Moon , fertility and good luck. With her Celtic Warrior's braid, she is also a Goddess of Sovereignty, urging us to embrace our personal power.
Flower of Life Goddess, this Goddess holds the Flower of Life in a Lotus to represent the Sacred Geometry of the Universe. This ancient symbol's interlocking circles remind us that all is connected in both space and time.
Yemaya, the mother Goddess of the oceans and seas, has a hand painted blue star fish and small seashells around her. She is the keeper of the treasures under the water.
The Talisman Goddesses are about 1.5 inches from top to bottom and come in a primitively constructed burlap pouch. She is perfect to add to a medicine bag or blessings bowl and you can add some of your own crystals to keep with her in her burlap pouch.
Each is hand made so there are variations and each figurine is made from natural gypsum.
