The smudging ceremony involves the burning of special, sacred plants and herbal resins. This can be accomplished by either passing an object through the stream of smoke or by fanning the smoke around a person. When used in a room or place it is advised to spread the smoke into the center and four corners of the location.
The spirit of the resins, herbs, leaves or plants then purify the item, person or place that is being smudged.
The combination of Anise Star, White Sage, Copal Resin & Ginger is a powerful tool to aid in your cleansing or smudging ceremony.
To Use: Light the bundle from the top end and carry carefully over a flame proof smudge stick holder, bowl or other suitable item. You can also crush the leaves and sprinkle them over a lit charcoal tablet placed in a fire proof bowl. Allow the smoke to reach all corners of the room you are cleansing or hold your crystals above the smoke for a few seconds.
